I graduated from Roosevelt University with both my Bachelors in Psychology in 2006 and Masters in Community Counseling in 2009. Over the last 12 years, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. In the past several years, I have focused on working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, poor self-esteem, life transitions, abuse, chronic illness, generational trauma, infertility, and relationship/parenting issues. Together we gain insight into their lives by identifying changes they would like to make, how the past impacts the present, and work towards healing and happiness. I also enjoy working with racially and religiously diverse individuals and other underrepresented populations. I utilize traditional psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy as appropriate to each person I work with.
